2010 Toledo Race For The Cure

During my 6 month internship with WTOL News 11 my most important project was the conceptualization and production all coverage materials for the 2010 Toledo SusanG Komen Race For The Cure. I was responsible for every design element required, with the exception of compiling the introductory animation (though I was responsible for providing all necessary elements, storyboards, and music for the animation).

WTOL News 11: Marketing Internship
During my 6 month internship with WTOL News 11 my most important project was the conceptualization and production all coverage materials for the 2010 Toledo Susan G Komen Race For The Cure. I was responsible for every design element required, with the exception of compiling the introductory animation (though I was responsible for providing all necessary elements, storyboards, and music for the animation).

Each video below is proceeded by it's corresponding storyboard.
Animated Introduction
While I was the one in charge of conceptualizing, drafting, and final design of every element of this campaign, this particular animation (made using Adobe After Effects) was created by another member of the marketing team at WTOL. I supplied him with all necessary graphics, storyboard, and audio. Admittedly, I was not thrilled with the final result of the intro, so I have since taken it into my own hands to familiarize myself with Adobe AE. The black parts of the animation represent live footage that was to be inserted during the broadcast.
Factoid Animation
This particular animation is one of a set consisting of 16 factoids related to the Susan G. Komen Race For The Cure. One of these factoids would play before and after every commercial break during the race coverage. While the campaign open was created by another member of the team, I compiled this animation using Adobe AE myself.
Sponsor Bump
This animation was one of 10 sponsor bumps that would play at various times throughout the race coverage. While the campaign open was created by another member of the team, I compiled this animation using Adobe After Effects myself.
Also originally requested was a lower-thirds factoid animation, but this only made it to storyboard (seen below).
