The Toledo Zoo: Misc. Ads & Signage
As part of the Visual Communication Technology program at Bowling Green State University, I began my full-time and semester-long internship with The Toledo Zoo in September of 2009. During this period I worked with the Interpretive Services (Graphics) and Exhibits Departments in designing both temporary and permanent on-site signage, advertisements, brochures, invitations, banners, exhibit graphics, and other informational/promotional material. While these departments were not responsible for any copywriting, they were responsible for creative direction and production of all projects. While this is some of my earliest real-world experience with design, it served as a valuable foundation.
